Produced by the Plastics Industry Association, NPE 2024: The Plastics Show was held on May 6-10, 2024 in Orlando, Florida, and was record breaking for not only NPE but for Shini USA, a division of Budzar Industries LLC. We were incredibly proud to be at this show and to contribute to the community. Read on to learn about the show and Shini USA’s role.
About NPE 2024
This show was highly anticipated by many in the plastics industry, including Shini USA, since the cancellation of NPE 2021 show, resulting in a six-year hiatus for the event.
NPE 2024 housed a total of 1,106,767 square feet of paid exhibit space, with more than 2,000 exhibiting companies in attendance. Some of the core aspects of the event included:
- Keynote and industry-veteran speakers
- Exhibit hall
- 3D printing workshop
- Student workshop
- Exploratory technology zones
- Recycling demo areas and a sustainability hub
Shini USA’s Appearance at NPE 2024
For the event, Shini USA had a large 1,500 sq/ft island booth located in the main (west) exhibit hall, where our team displayed multiple pieces of plastics auxiliary equipment for attendees, covering nearly every product line. Some highlights:
- We debuted the relaunch of the newly upgraded Shini USA 3-Axis Servo Robot, a product line that will be available in our Willoughby, Ohio location by December 2024. Shini USA demonstrated the robot live, with programmed parameter settings that showed its full range of material handling capabilities.
- As experts in material handling, we highlighted several loading products including a large conveyor (CB-2), a single-station loading system (SAL-5HP-UG), and a gravimetric blender with connecting vacuum hopper loaders.
- The SEHD (Shini Hot Air Hopper Dryer) was upgraded with an energy-efficient controller which slows down the blower and lowers heater temperature when setpoint is achieved. This ultimately lowers energy consumption and utility costs. This controller, as new technology for Shini, is offered as an optional upgrade to the preexisting SEHD product line.
- For temperature control applications, Shini USA had Hot Oil, Water, and Dual-Zone Temperature Control Modules as well as Air-cooled Chillers running in the booth. These units displayed updated controller options and internal design improvements.
- For material mixing and blending, Shini USA displayed a wide line of Volumetric Color Feeders, Gravimetric Blenders, and Material Storage Mixers for large batch mixing and vacuum conveying.
NPE 2024 contributed to many successes for Shini USA, including an increase in new potential business and an increase in inquiries from current and prospective customers.
